An Introspective
I am far from perfect. In fact, perfect and I rarely ever meet up, except perhaps in my poetry. I broke every rule in the book. I listen about as well as I draw. Oh, I have ears, I just didn't use them. I had little respect for anything including myself. I knew the truth, I just didn't care to see it. I knew what I should do and did the opposite, every time! I did everything I shouldn't have done And did none of the things I truly should have done. But that's all said and done. His Word is Mighty, my word is nothing! Time and time again I seen it, I heard it, I felt it. And over that time He kept pulling me closer, The closer I got, I began to feel His Spirit in my soul And those tears began to flow, all of them for Him I was a stubborn mule, but the Lord was a more loving God.. I needed only to look just once, with His Grace, to finally see Now I see great, but I still bump into things. But all of that pain, now I give it up to Him Still hard sometimes though not to feel unworthy And yet in Jesus' Name we are all worthy, Don't be as I was, for my happiness came through Him He is so loving, He knows you better than you do, you know He's knows what will bring joy to your heart. I can attest to that
