Picture It Like This
Picture it like this…. Lovely family tree branching out towards the great infinite divine. A woman lost inside her cave and can’t crawl out of her sadness. The tree keeps growing yet the leaves keep falling and by the time Spring comes there is nothing left but dead wood. Maybe she can use it for a bonfire. Maybe she can burn all the distress away like a faded gray cloud. Maybe she can try to chase dreams afar before the retraction of life kills her. For she is unworthy of the love that has been offered many a time. Nowhere to run yet too many places to hide. She crawls up into a ball like a fetus not ready to be born yet. For every tear cried two more aren’t wiped. How can her life be so tragic? What did she do so bad she needs to bleed to survive? She will not survive it this time. There are too many minutes stacked against her and every day that passes another one enters just as miserable as the one she has lived each day previous.
