Reality
I'm the girl who's "happy" all the time. The one that takes care of others. Breaks down once in a while. Scared to let any in. Ends up with a broken heart. Finding myself trying to block out the sounds of arguments. I can be read like a book but you don't know half of it. I smile while inside I shut down. Reality is something I run away from. Block it all out with music, and pretending. Sorry if I'm an ass but it's my way of protecting myself. Sorry for not wearing enough clothes but it's my way of fighting my demons. Reality more or less sucks. I don't have riches or a perfect life. Fact is I wake up everyday wishing I didn't. Help me I scream to no one because who'll listen. Listen to an emotionally scared teen? Don't make me laugh. Reality to me is a never ending nightmare. Let my anger take control. That way the hurt won't get through, right? How wrong that was. Every word was like a knife piercing through me. In other words Reality for me sucks ass.
