Tears of An Angel
We had four years of trying, four years of sorrow and crying. Hopes of having a child were dim. I needed more faith in Him. I closed my eyes and prayed, "God, I long for a child, but I'm afraid it's not meant for me to be blessed. I must have failed Your test." I felt a comforting touch. The hand of the angel I needed so much. Soon I learned I was to have a child. Thankful emotions were running wild. Then my world fell apart. I lost the baby who lived beneath my heart. I didn't care about living. I wanted to die. Tears fell on my cheek. I heard my angel cry. His tears strengthened my faith. I dreamed of my beautiful Angelic wraith. Another child grew inside of me. "Please let this baby live." I was on my knees. My laughter was filled with joy, hearing the first cries of my baby boy. Tears fell on his cheeks while he slept, tears from my angel who softly wept.
