Caught Again
It became more than just a hunch When I heard they met again after lunch. I called and asked him what's up? But his answers didn't quite add up. He said this and he said that And for a while played cat and rat. I poked and grilled him more and more Said I wouldn't quit till we settled the score. Told him I had enough evidence To expose his decadence. He pleaded but I wouldn't have none of it I yelled "OUT WITH IT! Enough of your shit". But had I known I wouldn't have Cuz the truth sliced my heart in half. He confirmed that my guess was right, our love had lost it's clout It felt like a punch below the belt when he spelt it all out. He said he wasn't cheating on me with her Instead, he was cheating on her with me. I was absolutely dumbfounded Or should I say absolutely astounded? All I could do was ask myself WHY Didn't know whether to laugh or cry. And too be honest, it really didn't matter Whether I did the former or the latter
