I Can'T Get It Back
I sacraficed so much To be in your arms And no you're allowing me To step into harm. You're tearing down the protective cover You yourself placed And now, for believing you, I feel like i'm a disgrace. I trusted you so completely And you turned your heart around Just because I'm not there Doesn't mean you can love every girl in town. Don't think that you're getting away with this, It's not a warning. This is a promise, right now, So stop what you're doing. Listen to me and hear me out, Because you know that you've done wrong After two years of ups and downs, I thought you were the one. "Third time's the charm," Most people say But by the end of the first romance, It's all gone astray. So don't think that this is a "mistake" Because mistakes can be fixed. This isn't something that small, Because now, my insides are mixed. Numbness, anger, and pain Are what's mingling in my brain When you always talked about yourself, That should have been a clue that you were vain. I can't believe that I trusted you Because you had ruined me so many times And yet, I gave you a second chance To let you become mine. You never gave me freedom, Instead, spite and jealousy Were what kept you here What held you close to me. I lost so much when I was with you And now, I'm broken even more I can't get the broken pieces back, And I'm shattered now, for sure. The trust I placed in you Was not enough, it seems. Just please, let me go now, You've already ruined my dreams.
