Why Mustn-T I Cry -It Shouldnt Hurt To Be a Child Contest
why mustn't I cry to let out the pain why does he turn on me, when he is full of shame why does he drink then let tempers fly why mustn't I think, why mustn't I cry my brothers sit about so very afraid too frightened to shout out, so very scared next day at school the teachers will say which door did you walk into today. I shrug my shoulders and hang my head why can't I be bold ring lifeline instead a sense of duty, fogs my brain used to be so pretty, before this face full of pain heard there's been an accident at the mill fathers been killed should I think no ill maybe I have cried my last, could I at last think strong live like a child should, in a loving family where I belong.. children shouldn't be hurt, but loved all their life long. penned 6/04/2016
