Grace and Mercy, Lord Make Your Shield For Me
"Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me" If turmoil and turbulence decide to head this way to bring darkness and trouble throughout my day, Under the wings of an Eagle shall I be, "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!" When there's ten thousand enemy circled about and it's utterly hopeless with no way out, with YOUR Armor I'll achieve the "Victory!" "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!" This Life with it's many twists and turns, Yes, the stove's hot and yes, Fire does burn! I seek your protection and ask this humbly, "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!" When faced with those who only want to spew Hate and if descending to return in kind I did contemplate, I remember that "in ignorance some do live blissfully", "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!" If the unexpected unexpectedly does arise trying to test my last nerve and it really tries, I will maintain composure and proclaim quite trustingly "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!" Whatever I may face down the road in this life be it turmoil, roadblocks, pain or even strife, with head bowed and I'll say on bended knee, "Grace And Mercy, LORD Make YOUR Shield For Me!"
