So Very Glad
Am glad I can sit back and read those words some that came from my deepest core only flowing with pain and unimaginable hurt and some that came from the skin on me screaming due to the burning sun wet from the heavy downpour cooling from that salty sweat.. It's the looking back anniversary like my whole life in a snapshot life hidden in words life naked from the words i appreciate the writer in me i appreciate the gift that brought back my pen and the gift of the gift that revived my imprisoned passions This memory lane is full of heroes most of whom I will never meet writers of words like mine, isn't poetry the most noble thing? this beauty touches all the corners of the world and brings the fruits of many cultures to adore One day when I am a great grandmother i went to sit back like am doing right now with my great grandchildren and all and listen to these words just the way they are in their most raw, fearful, naive and careless form i want to remember the taste of a twelve year old as I wrote my first poem i want to feel the adventures of a new world of a teenage wild i want to watch the confusing then the whipping then the calming storm of love Ten years from now am sure this pen would be dancing to a different tune the songs of the coming are also welcome for they too would need a sit back. ...
