Tabula Rasa
I would gladly endure another ounce of pain; at a chance to have another wrinkle in my brain. Why do we hide the next generation? Why do we not prepare them for altercation? We withhold truth under the banner of faith. So our kids will not be dragged off by some demon or wraith. How was faith defined by the bereans? Yet we define faith by the terms of the cretans. They believed their god to be a mortal. Zeus’ grave they considered not abnormal. Perhaps they were schooled in their house, unable to stand up to a prattling louse. Only cowards are afraid to face a question. For even the most faithful use discretion. Are you afraid with a God omnipotent? Against the demons and wraiths, do you consider him impotent? Are you contented with no food on your plate? We should not rest with no marks on our slate. Ignorance is bliss, when you’re deaf and blind. Who is willing to have a god given mind?
