Element of Earth
Element of Earth Oh, Element of Earth, true gift of solid mass on which we stand; with gravity forced by your spin, stability is well at hand. You are the womb that births our needs: the fertile soil from which we're fed, to shelter from your lofty trees... and place to rest when life has ebbed. You are Earth mother we hold dear that cradles all upon your crust. Dense elements you gift to us like crystals, diamonds and gold dust. Dear mother Earth, so great you are; with Sun and Moon, you are a team. Held fast in our great galaxy... Earth element, you reign supreme. Upon your sphere, we live our lives; all that we need will come from you. Both you and we came from the stars; we are connected through and through. Sandra M.
