Easy Like a Sunday Morning
He sat down in the pew just before the start of mass A dangling chain or two such judgment one may pass Thinking he didn't fit in, I started praying for his soul Every one of us in sin such judgment I should not dole So there he had stayed, sitting, standing and kneeling All along I had prayed that he would receive a healing For at least he was trying with the desire to be there As there is no denying many people still truly do care As he left during communion like a bull out of a shut Hopefully he's not done, perhaps he might even root But that's in Gods Hands only He can change a heart One certainly understands, everything needs a start Perhaps he'll be in that pew with Jesus looking down Or maybe someone new, so coming to see His Crown I will only simply say that whoever is sitting there For them we will pray, everywhere else that is rare Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
