Pain Again Part 2
>'Oh no.' Then she said to me. 'I see the problem. Don't worry Stanley.' Soon as she left, the pain, hurt so. Will she return? She will I know. That she came with others too. All seem to know just what to do. As I had been in pain all night. I had double morphine by mouth. That's right. Once my pain had gone you see. They all started to fiddle with me. The epidural in my back you know. Had come apart, how? I don't know! Although I pressed the button right. The medicine did not enter me right. But of all the beds, I could claim. Mine was truly free from pain finally order was restored. As pain control, visited the Ward. To me they came and did explain. I have to be on pills again. As time did pass, I'm glad to say I had no more pains like that night. All I could think, was wife's birthday and hope that she was quite alright. My final thought at the end. Was of my nurse angelic friend. We was she in the night? With others perhaps, who were not right. At least I am a lucky one. My bed was fortunate to. As it had a pain-free night. Of it, I'm jealous true. But in the end I'm on the mend. And that's all thanks to you. So when my Angel's, with you through. Send her back to me, please do. My first book of poetry did contain quite a lot of my personal feelings during those difficult times. However I did write quite a few cheerful ones and just to fill space soap opera in here it may be short run out characters again. Blackbirds in the garden. There are blackbirds in the garden, playing in the snow. Where they all come from, I really do not know. I hope Kat does not see them, as oh it's plain to me. If he tries to chase them, they'll fly into our tree. And that will spoil their playtime, and giving me a show. Of all the happy blackbirds, playing in the snow. NB Kat is the name i have given to the stray cat , that has decided this is HIS home. That is however another story or poem. Depending on your point of view. Oops Characters remaining are running out, just time to say Enjoy and have a nice poetic day. (TmA)<
