We stayed up until sunrise, dancing by the beach. Those nights there were no lies, with our idle and slurred speech. Most don’t understand, because they have a home. For me things went unplanned, so I began to roam. I’ve always been a curious one, I was born the other lady. Once my sadness had begun, I always looked for safety. I belonged to no one, you can take me anywhere. We could really have some fun, no one could compare. I believe in who I want to be, I will continue to thrive. For in the now I am free, you can never kill my drive.
