A Loving Heart For a Loving Heart
"An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth." A statement that is common to the human ear. At times I sit and ask myself this question, "When will I ever hear a fellow uttering the words: "A heart for a heart?" If I could count the number of hearts that are broken,I might end up pinning each heart to a star so that I don't lose track of count. One of the most important organs in the human body, suffers a great deal of pain because of either words or actions done by people who don't value the heart. If each and every heart that has ever been broken would return the favour, would it be a sin? Would one be considered 'heartless'? What exactly would happen? I've realised that no matter how many times our hearts are broken,we have three gifts that we still give out..which are Forgiving,Forgetting and Loving despite the pain and through this, more hearts are being broken day after day because at the end of the day,we forgive because we believe that love is patient. To each and every game there are rules and thus, the rules of avoiding a broken heart are: The first time is a mistake The second time is a choice The third time is just you making a fool of yourself. We deserve more than just broken hearts that is why I say "A loving heart for a loving heart.."
