Walked
I walked these dilapidated halls Where bloody hand prints covered the walls I remember the musky scent drenching the air Knowing this trap would leave me ensnared Every single door opened with a screeching protest And it seemed like my heart would leap from my breast There was a skill to every one of these kills The dead bodies left me in chills I opened the wormhole in your heart When I drove the spike in to tear it apart I unleashed a bloodthirsty beast Who seeks my soul to have a feast Each breath could be my last as I stumbled along But I had to keep my wits to remain strong Up ahead there stood a closed mahogany door As if mocking me with some imaginary war My hand trembled as I reached out and grabbed the doorknob I could feel the vein in my forehead beginning to throb But I threw the door open to see my fate in human form Within those eyes were a twisting and violent storm I remember the bloody scent drenching the air And for the first time in my life I truly felt scared I no longer walk these dilapidated halls Where I bled out with nobody to heed my calls
