I'Ve Drawn My Strength From Healing
I wonder how I would have been if things never ended between him and I. Would I still put him first like I did, despite the distance? Would I still value him and see him as the guy that I would wanna be with even though I know that there are guys who are after me yet I'd never give them attention coz I decided that I'm a one man woman? Would I still utter this powerful statement (I love you) with a deep passion and with the same way I give life to it whenever I utter it? Would I still boast about the sweet things he'd say to me day after day and consider myself greatly blessed? And if I had never meant every word that I said, would I have moved on by now? Would I have moved on a week after the break up? A day maybe? An hour? See whenever something precious is taken from you, a part of you actually dies and thus, you're responsible for giving that particular part life again, because the power is in your hands.. Sometimes we may never have the strength to stand, but all we have to do is allow ourselves to heal as time goes by.. A certain woman I know once said "Tought times don't last, tough people do" I've decided to be tough and through being tough,I made it through all the trials. I've learnt to forgive people who I never expected to be hurt by I've learned to apologise to people who I never meant to hurt I've learned to love people who can't stand seeing me And through all this, I can say that I'm a woman of valor and I've drawn my strength from healing..
