Depression Rhapsody
Dark 'tis the dawn as I view it from my eye, the Sun looking for the next thing to warm, for the pall of despair darkens all in my world each day just a little bit more. The Sun bearing down, warming all on Earth, lighting, helping us grow and heating all, while I only see shadows and notice the cold as the light is no Light for me. The stars twinkle at night high in their sky, ever there each night we search, yet my nights end starless - darkening clouds my view - with no Light to guide my way. Even late at night, when dreams hold sway, when we should revel in our minds eye, she is still out of reach, in my dreams as in my world, as though happiness is not meant for me. Happy go the faces I pass on the street, how that can be I don't remember the mood, while I stroll around, gloom clouds holding me down, seems I'm too dejected to let my sadness depress me.
