There was in London in the year 1910 Mr and Mrs Banks who had a great need a nanny to care for Jane and Michael their two lovely children they were indeed Mary Poppins was their needy answer coming down from the sky one bright day but she was somewhat different by far not your convential nanny one might say Bert was the local chalk screever quite skilled was he at his craft sweeping chimneys too was his trade quite a guy not entirely daft So Mary, Bert, Jane and Michael had many adventures of fun with the swans by the pond at the races seeing the horses run They all loved to sing many a song with Uncle Albert singing I love to laugh on the ceiling having afternoon tea that was really funny by half A spoonful of sugar was a real cure making one go and play a kite so to take a step in time chim chim cher-ee lasted all night The one that was the real favourite supercalifragilisticexpialidocious one never ever can forget what a spellbound diagnosis!
