Way Back In 1978
Way back in 1978 Life, a giggle and school was absolute fun, Family, the whole world and friends were pun, Getting up early morning for lessons at school, Wait for evening splashes in the swimming pool, Climbing up the trees and then a sudden fall, Roaming in streets, there weren't any malls, Sincere slaps by old and mistakes notified, Cute siblings, affection balms were applied, Jumping into puddles soon after the rain, As mothers shouted harsh but all in vain, Stealing fruits from neighbour's garden, Trying to escape, else ask for a pardon, Losing marbles and friends were the only fears, Minor hurts and angers got us to innocent tears, Running after rabbits, squirrels and hen, Way back then when I was ten.
