The Race To Reality-Hashtag Poem
The Race to Reality Should I ever be ashamed of my own race? All of the killing, we’re diminishing Some of us call it Faded We once had so much pride, Now our knowledge consists of No Type. Which is probably why… WeAintGotNoWorries ‘til the murderer is white. Quick to call each other Thots. Slow to create thoughts of peace. Turnt Up to be torn down. Ignorance on Fleek. The only history we care about is dated to About A Week Ago Anything beyond that, I suppose is A No Flex Zone. No longer can I tell if I should be ashamed. But this generation’s Fire Challenge… Got Me Feeling Some Type Of Way. As if we weren’t already hung & set On fire back in the day, When Martin Luther King’s dream Paved freedom’s way! At this rate, I can’t care for criticism and such. No one else will speak of it Turn Down For What ?!
