What Is This That I Feel
They tell me what I was experiencing was shock For I couldn't  believe this was real The pain hurt so bad I wished I lacked the ability to feel From shock to anger the switched happened so fast  But I found myself embracing this mask  For I desperately wanted to bring back the past  When anger didn't relieve the pain I found myself calling out God's name I promise I'll live right if you just let things go back to the same  They say this phase is known as the plea for the great exchange  When you finally realize the miracle won't happen  It leads you to the phase where your heart becomes blackened  Better known as depression because your always saddened  The final phase is acceptance with time  It's the only thing that brings peace of mind  Perhaps the safest refuge that you will find What is this that I feel in which I desperately seek relief? They say this is what happens when you loose a loved one and it's known as the five stages of grief
