But the rustling sound of branches, I'll always recall, The dreary dense woods, I'll always remember. The shadowy figures pop in and out, From behind tree trunks and limbs, I remember sliver-like images, They wait and watch, While dusk looms around me. Friend or foe I do not know, Who is watching and who is hiding? When dawn starts to trickle in above, And darts through the tree trunks that surround me.
