Listening to and shining through I see the tears you cry. Touching me as I'm touching you if only you could try. Like passing through a curtain how I left you on that day. I heard you crying out to me and begging me to stay. The Master called me home you see my work on earth is through. Still He listened, your tears glistened, I'm not done loving you. So He took our memories etched them in your heart and mind. And through His grace and mercy I left those things behind. To cling to on those darker days when things aren't going right.
