Remedy
I never realized words, they were my remedy From adolescent years, on a pen and paper flowing Once I had a notebook, disappeared without me knowing Scared of the world, finding out what I was doing Written scars matching, the ones close to my veins Many pages that were torn, so many tears cried in vain Turning wet pages, I tore up quite a few When it got so real, To God I pleaded to Feeling unanswered, questioning our Holy Master In the mist of my depression, I could hear the Devils laughter Finding my reflection, I knew I had it in me Looking at the lessons, this life was giving to me Taking it upon myself, Those things I began changing Being motivated by a life, In meeting my first baby Leaving it to my strength, I got up and tried again Looking down at my wrist, I began to repent Picking up a Pen and Paper, with my thoughts time spent Gaining strength as my ink bled, The Devil was Hella bent Giving it all to the Lord, For this gift thats Heaven sent Till this day transforming, those things I do not regret
