Stuck In the Am
Everything is still in pieces as I remember. Memories turn into haunted nightmares. Love turns into hatred. Once burning flame is nothing more than a spark. Stuck in that time everything was perfect. Holding onto nothing but a distant memory of what used to be. Holding onto a stupid piece of hope. Longing for your touch. Crave your attention. Stuck in that time when we called it love. Stuck in the am,when you took my heart with you. Walked out of my life as if everything we had was nothing but a lie. I'm stuck in the am. A place that i hate. But i can't move on. Hopping what we had could be ignited once again. Did you really have to break me down? Steal my heart. Only to stomp it out. Baby i'm stuck in the am's. Don't think i'll ever get unstuck.
