Its a Secret
You take my hand and pull me into the dark I shiver from the coldness as I look upon the marks Marks on the walls of the hallway we went down Telling a story with pain they let out I couldn’t understand it, but I knew you could Because as you read it too, you had a weird look Your face turned white and tears were streaming I knew this story definitely had a meaning You grab my hand again and continue to walk Until suddenly my chest ran into your shoulder as we came to a stop I looked around, and all I saw were walls Walls of stone that were 100 feet tall In the middle of the room there was a single chair It wasn’t a special chair; it was just sitting there You told me to sit and I did as you said Someone came in, his white shirt stained with red You pay no mind to him as he walks right beside you “Can I be part of this secret too?” He gave me a smile that was like no other smile It was a weird smile; Gruesome and vile You smiled the same smile This lasted for a while Staring at each other with only silence to hear I think I felt something run down my cheek, a tear? Why was I crying? These were my friends They wouldn’t hurt me; I would just wait until the end They said we were playing a game, a special one And that I would get a reward if I won I trust them because they are the best friends I have met We are playing a game they said, but it’s a secret.
