Life is beautiful Yet you make it roar ?? like thunder Trying to get through this journey Trying to make a change Somehow things still feel the same Its strange How you'll spend your whole life Trying to impress Unsure ?? of your purpose Thinking did I really deserve this Pressure Lets break it down Treating yourself unworthy When we all deserve our crown Being put down Without having the will power to get back up Lying in a state of comfortbility Not realizing you were stuck Yep that's us We as human beings Lacking alot So confused But God never forgot Pressure through our peers Did more trying to be accepted It brings you to tears All these years And then you finally develop into your own Now realizing that the only approval you need Is the one on the throne Pressure of trying to be of the world Yes that's us Putting up a big ole fuss Over unnecessary stuff That we can't control Pressure of being afraid Knowing that if you're not like others Sometimes friends will trade Yes they will We may experience hurt But we have to learn to forgive And just live Pressure to belong In an unfit song The words just don't mix Time for revision Have to do it quick Practicing a new step To follow Even when your not content on which direction to go Go with the flow Pressure in relationships That don't belong That are old Still holding on When you know your past life Is renewed the old you is gone Pressure is surely what you make it You can overcome it You can face it Being under it doesn't make you feel any lesser These are my thoughts No Pressure Written By:Concetta Hardnett 11/4/2015
