From the Wreckage of a Sun
From the wreckage of a sun by ~H~ In the dark of a shadow cast by a dying sun, I stood cold and silently alone. My mind filled with echoes from when time had begun and of the space I had once called my home. Where galaxies were born, the stars danced in the sky, and the comfort of blackness my friend. Where all Gods' creation spanned but the blink of an eye, and time oh so precious became time without end. But the darkness grew hollow and bitterly cold, swallowing all but the last of the light. The stars had stopped dancing all bloated and old, bent over and broken by love anger's might. From the thunderous roar of two worlds colliding unable to prevent the pain, came the vacuum of silence from shock waves subsiding and heavens filled with heartbroken rain. Alone I stood broken in the shadow of that sun, a witness to its final moments of glory. It grew fainter and weaker, and then it was done, naught left but raw matter to become another love story... -End-
