Little Man Syndrome
Little man, welcome home This is your sanctuary, your castle Little man, do you own that which is your destiny, your legacy I've seen it too many times Lost count over the years Never thought it was a big deal But now I see, a man can destroy a family. His home, his rightful throne. So mount your horse Where-ever it may be And now I see, a man can flee. He is nothing but a frost to a farmer's crop Never thought he could deceive But now I see, a man empty as can be Little man, welcome home This is your sanctuary, your castle Little man, do you own that which is your destiny, your legacy I've seen it too many times One who can't stand up Never thought it was a big deal But now I see, a man can destroy his chance. His path, now a darkened road. Count your blessings, a little man cuts his neightbours throat only to save his own. Little man, little man, why do you give in? Little man syndrome, has taken its toll. You cant help but think of yourself when you should stand up to the task Little man, welcome home This is your sanctuary, your castle Little man, do you own that which is your destiny, your legacy I've seen it too many times in this life. A thousand souls to lost to care for their own, Now just bare boned and alone. I can't judge, but be aware One day when heaven is here A little man will wish he had never been so scared
