Mom
Mom By Asianae Aikey You’re one in million You’re beautiful and true And one of these days I’ll let you know how much I love you You’ve been there for my ups and downs You’ve stuck by my side You always want what is best for me I love you as much as a human can and more You’re amazing You shine through and through You’re the world’s best mother There’s no more that I could as for You’re all I’ve ever wanted in my messed up life You’re the bright light that helped me when I was little through the night And that helps me now that I’m away from home You tried to guide me away from the wrong choices Tried to show me the right road to take But like many kids I didn’t listen I took the wrong road I threw fits I lied and cheated I basically made your life a living hell And for that I am sorry If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be where I am now Getting the help that I need You thought that I was being normal for a kid like me Then someone told that I wasn’t a normal child And things finally came into perspective for you You realized that I needed help That no matter what you tried to do at home it wouldn’t work So you had to send me away What I’m trying to say is I love you Even though you didn’t physically birth me You’re better that any biological mother could be I love you and I hope one day I can tell you how much
