All the World's a Stage
All The World’s A Stage In the lives of each other We play many parts With a very long scene until the end Composed of Acts as time allows Act I finds Infants in a vunerable state Nursed and fed and time for growth Act II as a back packed child who runs to school Who didn’t finish his daily gruel Who has no dreams except for games Of cyber fun and tv fares A latchkey kid who grins and bears Act III as a young man on fire Writing poems to his sweet mate Act IV moves on to a warrior brave Acursed by fighting inane wars Act V will see a man of wealth As well as his girth taking bribes As part of American Greed Act VI finds a man Who is frail and in need And as we close with Act VII We can only surmise that The Drama of Death has no surprise Shakespeare’s As You Like It Act 2 Scene 7 ©RalphSergi
