Reading Between the Lines
In just six weeks, I had three unnerving big scares My angels must be surely working overtime upstairs I thank you sincerely for keeping me unharmed But I'm nervous and becoming increasingly alarmed Is my time getting close God, are you giving me warning signs To get my affairs in order, or am I reading between the lines In the first incident a car almost ran me over while it reversed My sister blared her horn her head and heart almost burst The car stopping just two inches from me, oh so very close I thank you my guardian angels, I'm not ready to say adios Is my time getting close God, are you giving me warning signs To get my affairs in order, or am I reading between the lines The second incident involved two motorcycles speeding recklessly Causing our cars to stop abruptly at high speeds so unpleasantly I swerved to avoid hitting car in front, almost got hit from behind Driving past the burning motorcycle, thanking angels in my mind Is my time getting close God, are you giving me warning signs To get my affairs in order, or am I reading between the lines The third incident occurred while driving with my three sons and grand daughter A deer collided with my car, maybe I need to douse myself in blessed holy water We were shook up but uninjured, once again I looked to heavens above I'm so deeply indebted angels for protecting me and the ones I love Is my time getting close God, are you giving me warning signs To get my affairs in order, or am I reading between the lines ~ I do hope that the theory that things happens in three's applies here ~
