The Best Mistake In My Life
Am I the insane boy and you the sane individual? I held on for dear life as I sky dive in my mind's eye...you're the light bulb and I'm the silly fly You are being the flawless goddess, sipping on faith fuel Saving up my money for something I'd die for...experiencing a temporary natural high Pre-chorus: I'm penniless I'm full of joyfulness I'm not in distress Feeling kinda like a success Chorus: Talking too much...being a total bother Your words go one ear out the other... Under pressure while a Miley Cyrus song is blasting today Moving with the beat of the song foolishly...it's a solitary party in the USA Are you prepared for a perfect storm? I made the biggest mistake in my life - Failing to be regretless and giving in to strife But I want to be regretless all my life...all my life I hold on for the sake of your comfort, your words of uplifting Utopias It's as if you erase the mistakes I've done - you must be the best mistake I my life, made with little to no flaws Am I the shy freak? Are you the confident geek? What's up with that? What kind of fame do you seek? I don't want to die young, so let's live life to the best of our ability right now I don't want to be the one in the wrong, so let's play it safe and be cured from the boredom disease...somehow... I want you to include me, not to seclude me I want not to be left behind, but you can't figure out what I'm signaling to you...don't ignore me like I'm crazy... Pre-chorus Chorus I hate that you love to see me struggling to catch your attention Can't stand the tension, not to mention the feeling of apprehension and hesitation... Crying for help like a coward...acting so absurd... Nervous to the core...for some odd reason, things between us has been awkward I want to release from this cage of captivity like I'm the red, white and blue cardinal bird Sorry for the shattered pieces of my confidence on the floor...haven't you heard? Pre-chorus Chorus Haven't you heard that I'm too late to reach out to you? On a brighter note, I'm not gonna let it get to me and just move on...I don't want another love flu You don't know exactly what I've gone through and you hadn't a clue why I'm blue If only you knew, but you'd be the victim of lament too But, sooner or later, we will be as fresh as morning dew I wish you and I could share good vibrations I wish I could exchange to you my eager sensations Pre-chorus Chorus Tangled up in these bittersweet memories Brought low by unforgiving gravity and the past tragedies I wish I can be your dream of ravishing reality, But in disguise, I'm the nightmare of nostalgic negativity Beneath this skin is only skin, flesh and bones...nothing special whatsoever My high spirits haven't gave me pleasure beyond measure Pre-chorus Chorus Everyone makes mistakes as my friend said to me on text message Thank the Lord of Accord that my life isn't at stake or I might act like I'm on edge However...your graceful grin would make me hopeful during hard times when I would about to break How many times do I have to tell you to come back to me, my horribly perfect mistake? I wonder what kind of risks you'd take and problems you'd make With all hope in mind, I hope I find solutions to problems I find...or am I altogether blind? Thank God for me, finding a miracle like you Instead of me being blue, I'm the hue of morning dew But, oh my young heart, you came out of the blue
