Mater Naturae
Some of human things produced are beautiful and fair, Yet they cannot to nature form compare. The surgeon trained, Makes lovely nose, Yet it looks drained, To what god chose, For I find fine, An ugly nose, But girl which whine, Is tainted rose. Some of human things produced are beautiful and fair, Yet they cannot to nature form compare. A smile from heart, Is friendly vine, A smiling art, Does little shine. Just smile and grin If it is true, Keep falsely twin, Away from you. Some of human things produced are beautiful and fair, Yet they cannot to nature form compare. There people are, Who born are good, Like taintless star, In every mood. No anger deep, No envy there, None smile is cheep, They're simply fair. They I prefer, O'er those who taught, Were to deter, What their heart sought. Some of human things produced are beautiful and fair, Yet they cannot to nature form compare. So goes the same, For you my dear, Who search for fame, By hiding fear, By changing you, For foreign feels, By being blue, For strange ideals. The belly calls, Your friends demand, But please find balls, To make your brand. Some of human things produced are beautiful and fair, Yet they cannot to nature form compare.
