Vivid Memories
Beautiful Scars... Vivid memories Of the home that I loved It was also the house that I hated Growing up just being a small child Having to deal with big things Arguments Fights You came right through the door Starting shooting Like a video game No, more like a movie I can remember your face Clear as day As if I needed to pay Running and screaming Hiding in my grandmas closet Scared of you and what came along I thought this place was sacred Instead I wanted this house to be vacant Looking out the window Watched you run up the stairs Gun in hand Now I realize you weren't a true man My brother a baby, biologically yours You didn't seem to care You never played fair We seen what ever you showed No cover ups No concealing anything What you see is what you get We got it Good or bad Day after day As depressing as it was My home wasn't the greatest But it was mine I would change a few things But then it would change time!!!
