The Moment
Be alone with yourself, And gaze all around. Smell the smells, see the birds, Feel the sun, hear the sounds. Then take it all in, And center yourself. Just be in the moment, Enjoy your good health. Be the best you can be, And make great moments count. Each day is your life, Life is hard to surmount. Know what you want But enjoy what you’ve got. Love what you do Cause In life that’s your lot. Then share who you are, With those that mean most. Think big but act small, Be a friend, be a host. Care for those who are close, Think of those who are far. See the world through their eyes, Love them each as they are. Cause this place where we live, Is the best place on Earth. This is home, this is us, It’s the land of our birth Most the world thinks this way Where they’re from that’s their home. So live and let live, And to each their own. Our fate in this life, Is a moment and then. That moment is gone, Not to be, not again.
