Whose Poems Do I Prefer Introduction. Do women write more poems for Poetry Soup then men do? This appears to be a question that has often baffled me being that I am a man. If that is the case, the following brief poem should be a good explanation of what I am trying to say. Most of my main, primary readers are usually women anyway. Jim Horn Women's poems to me always seem ideal Most usually rhyme and have much appeal Are easy and simple for men to understand By male Poetry Soupers are in high demand. A women's character her poem will reflect At times I may have to be much more direct Her poems made me happy and have cried Fulfilled me muchly and more than satisfied. What else from a poem could be expected? Which is why women's poems I selected To be read over and over, again and again So women's are primarily preferred by men.
