The Taste of My Tears
The taste of my tears Like salt on my open Wounds never heal in This house is always broken like My reflection is distorted in The water is so tempting to Drown in my self pity until I float above all This pain makes me feel It’s hopeless to tell only the truth so I lie on my bed and fade into Nothing matters to me anymore when Everything is lost and I want to be Found no peace in my dreams when I Sleep never comes easy so I stay Awake to all the ugliness of my life I cry out when I can no longer hold in the Poison seems to plague My mind feels so empty yet it’s Weighed down by so much Misery loves company, so why am I Alone in my thoughts, I wish I could die by my own hands, but I’d only burn in Hell is on earth, so I look to The heavens seem to frown upon My face is soaked in The taste of my tears
