Who came into my world and made it theirs? The blackness is all around me And hollow eyes penetrate my being I’m asphyxiated as his grim hands cover my nose And as my eyes roll back I ask Is this the end? Is this how I die? And not out of fear I smile and giggle I will accept my fate I’m just a simple being Trying to make the best of my journey Between birth and dead So I accept him as he tiptoes around the corner Hideous and inconspicuous Eyes glowing through the darkness Fingers like tiny serpents Hissing as they caress my body Into a lifeless state
