Five Hearts Ago
Five hearts ago of lovers and sweethearts Five hearts ago of promises and memories We had something Each of you in our own sentences Each of you sang me a different melody That heart it's own uniqueness Five hearts ago of heartbreak and hurt Five hearts ago of sadness and giving up The road became rocky with each new day The heart slowly eroded and withered Its stems synchronized with death calls Departures, short stays and passersby became the norm Five hearts ago in the love boot camp Five hearts ago in the penthouse of something like lust The heart built a wall of its own Bigger than the five hearts Pumping blood further than the five hearts Writing new chapters, per its language Answering new assignments, on its orders No more five hearts Thank you five hearts 6/30/2015
