Love's magic is indisputable; but only if it was meant to be. For lodged deep in my heart like a stone, doubt's massive weight's slowly crushing me. Dreams and fantasies start to erode, exposed to lies and corrosive fears. And passion's flickering flame dies, doused by a deluge of bitter tears.
