Thin Thread of Hope
But a thin thread of hope remains, this world has lost it's will to go on, and I cannot stay long, because this life is hard, and it'll only get harder, how can this world go on, when all hope is gone, but a single thin thread, how does that hold the world in balance, hold it up in space, why am I the only one crying, the only ones dieing are gone, We cannot win this world, only this thread remains, yet we keep going, battle after battle, horror after horror, never stopping to cry, only stopping to die, for this land, for this country, and the thread gets thicker, and turns to chains, to hold this world in balance, but still I'm confused, I don't get it, how can these few words of encouragment, keep these soldiers going, how can we still fight, a battle that's way too bloody, when all we have is hope, when all we had was nothing, how do we hope, when there is none, the thin thread of hope, has grown to thick strong chains of hope, I'm still the only one crying, because I can't hope, because I never knew, what everybody else knew, that God was there, but to me, I had nothing to believe in, and I still don't, because all I have, is that thin thread, that has just severed, for me.
