On God's Playing Fields of Love
Beautiful when souls unite, sharing word and thought about our jealous God. Eagerly competing – you and me – who, today, God’s favourite be? On God’s playing fields of love. (thought and dream) I sat on God’s Lap. (God cradled my every word;) Him smiling at me. Eyes of love. My fondest Father. Sweetest comfort of age and grace. (eyes of love, smiling at me,) Words of peace, never sounds so sweet, as when, I sit on God’s Lap. On God’s playing fields of love. “These are the words God shared with me!” Well, God told me more. He told me, He, my words adore. And that He loves me. I sat on God’s Lap. (light, surrounding me.) Of all the words giving God praise; He told me, mine, His favourite be – My dream and thought, about our jealous God. On God’s playing fields of love. Eagerly competing – you and me – seeking God’s favour. What were those thoughts God shared with you? (Words…a tapestry of love.) “Yes, God shared me words of love; telling me that mine, the better be. And that I, His favourite am.” Still, I sat on God’s Lap. (God shared me, a carpet of love. As I walk-) On God’s playing fields of love. To Him our words ascend. Mine and yours; in God, my friend. (Pray? May humble be my words…) Wisdom shared. “Have you heard the words God said?” Tell me more. “He spoke about a woven pore, that secret eyes do see. Be careful what you say – Take every thought captive to the obedience of His Name.” On God’s playing fields of love. Eagerly competing – you and me – seeking the favour of our jealous God. I love our play of words on fields – You, eyes that see this pore. You, eyes that see my loving Adore. (secrets of my soul.) Beautiful when souls unite, sharing dream and thought of God.
