Dear God - For Contest
Mummy says its time for me to say my prayers I know she listens on the landing by the stairs I kneel down by the side of my cosy bed Soon it will be time to rest my weary head Every night I close my eyes and pray To say thank you God for a lovely day God bless mummy; I say that every night God bless daddy; now a star that shines so bright Please God can you stop mummy from crying She’s so so sad with my daddy dying Look after grandma Bo and grandpa Boo Daddy was their son he loved them too God please can you tell mummy I don’t like cheese It tickles my throat and then makes me wheeze Can you help me with the answers to my maths test I will practice my times tables, I will try and do my best Mummy says I can have a little kitten for being so good But I’d swap the kitten to have daddy back if I could PLEASE God can you stop mummy from crying She’s so so sad with my daddy dying AMEN 05~17~15 Contest:- Prayertime Memories – Isaiah Zerbst ~awarded 1st place~
