The Years of Longing
You were like the rhythm of Mozart in the silence As the rain you were pouring on the arid land Like the rainbow in the sky, it's your heart I was so wrong, i didn't know you that well You were like the sound of melodious birds As the safest land in Asia, it's your hand Like the sun shine in the morning, it's your smile I was blind, I couldn't see you that well My heart filled with thorns when i had you The Shadow of the past hindered my eyes There's always a place in my heart, you said Now, I can see you well since you've been gone If there is still a piece of yarn in your hand Would you like to give it to me once again So I can try to sew the broken cloth I've made Because I put it on fire in the dry season if nothing left, the last broken thread though I will try to stand up, brushed off this pain I'll remove the chain that brought me to you So I can say good bye to the nights of yearning
