My Enemy
My worst enemy is my own self pity Let me just say it's not very pretty, My heart is tight, it beats like a drum, my breathing is as shallow as the ocean shore, I JUST cannot go on like this anymore. I tried to tell people. How I feel, but to NO appeal, I got the same response every time, IT WILL ALL BE FINE!! Well you know what my friends? I will go along with your apathy game, But when I pass out or my heart starts to really hurt? Maybe then you will take my warnings A little more seriously... My own worst enemy if you haven't guessed yet, Is ANXIETY, and it is real..It's not a crutch, or my easy way out, but I wish people could see or Feel.what It is like inside my heart, I'm sure you would see your part in my life And try to reach out more, Or maybe I should just Depart....
