Whiskey
My tears, drown your senses and numbs your pain, You are welcome to have me, in your pleasures bargain, For you are my creator, encased me in malt and rye, The older I was on your keeps, got smoother with immortal life, Beware you creator, if you are in love with my golden glow, I could blur your vision and make your response, a tad slow, With my ability to set in deep, and put your rationality to sleep, I beseech you not to drive, unawares of your surreal drift, My voice within your soul, introvert, you speck your self-search, The words that you utter, to the world, does not matter much, Do you comprehend, that you, no longer are in control of your truth, What was hidden deep within, slurs out, like a script from Hollywood, You drift away into slumber, and wake up to a late ‘morn’, You realise you were ‘drunk’, as a mild hangover sets on, Love me little for a while and you shall be all right, Forbid, if you are hooked, I shall destroy your might;
