Abusive Alcoholic
Going to a dance party Enjoying your time with your friends You find a sweet guy Hang out with him for the rest of the night Your sweet guy wants to see you again Maybe go see a movie You are thinking what are his real plans My parents told me so many things like this Went to the movies with the sweet guy Then went out to eat I noticed he likes to drink a lot Especially towards the time of night He asked me if I would ever get married I told him I have thought about it A year later I am down with a child And a husband who loves to drink our money away One night I tried to leave He caught me and asked where I was going I told him I need to go see my parents He said no and he back handed me in the face I ran in the house and went upstairs While we were in bed he told me he was sorry In my head I thought differently Maybe I should really leave The next day I left to go see my parents I told them what had happened They told me I was always welcomed back home I took their advice and went home to gather my stuff When I got home I noticed something strange I went inside and he was sitting at the kitchen table He asked me where I went I told him I went to my parents’ house He asked me if I was lying I told him he could go ask my parents He got up and smacked me in the face I was so shocked of the force the slap had I yelled at him and said I was leaving He said leave I don’t care I grabbed my important stuff and grabbed Joey I ran out to the truck and got in Ever since that day happened I was never the same I was scared of those guys I stayed with my parents They took care of me I took care of them And I took care of the father’s son, Joey
