Darkness In the Sky
We each are reading each others minds. This is poem I had just completed writing. Darkness in the Sky Warm sun will be going down soon So we can see big, bright new moon Shining high up above in the sky While darkness continues to pass by. Could see deep darkness of the night Which sure was such an eerie sight Where all seemed quiet as can be And only total black did feel and see. No sound was there for you to hear Or noise around except only fear That is what I worried about the most I might be greeted by a big ghost. Each star shown clearly in the sky And on north one we all would rely In the event we had lost our way Was it one by night and two by day? Night was now completely over and done Again would be bothered by blinding sun To God another prayer then did begin Begging Him to bring night back again.
